Autumn leaves gently rustle in the October breeze as the days shorten, and the nights grow darker. It's been three peaceful years since evil walked the streets in the sleepy town of Smithfield. While a raging storm is heading toward them, Laurie and her husband, Michael, attempt to enjoy a quiet dinner out with friends. Happy Easter everyone! We are so excited to bring you several updates, and to announce that we are moving ahead with multiple productions this year! Please read and share the breaking news below, including the proposed Production Schedule for upcoming films from Cross Shadow!

Pray 3D: The Storm - We are thrilled to announce the Official "Greenlight" for the first 3D movie from CSP! After several years of waiting, fans of this series will finally see how the Trilogy ends! With many returning characters, there will be no public Casting Call for this feature-length film. However, there may be a few new roles available of various ages, so if you would like to be considered, please contact us. If you have supported or participated in previous CSP films, as a professional courtesy we would like to offer you priority consideration in appreciation for sharing your time & talent! Shooting of this film will take place this Spring, 2012.

Snitched - Excitement and buzz continue to grow around our first action/adventure film that is nearly 50% completed! Look for future updates that will share new details on how you can be involved, including our nationwide Kickstarter Campaign coming this summer! Filming production is scheduled to resume this Fall, 2012.

The Vestavia Experience - The latest supernatural thriller from Cross Shadow! Three college students encounter a powerful, dark entity that will change them forever! Inspired by true events from the quiet Birmingham suburb of Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Pre-production and open casting to begin Winter/Spring 2013.

PARANORMAL EARNS DOVE SEAL!

We are thrilled to share with you all that Paranormal has just been awarded the Dove Faith-Based Seal of Approval! (Click here to read the Official Dove Review.)

And if that weren't enough good news, Cross Shadow has also just signed a new Distribution Deal with BMG that will launch Paranormal (Nationally and Internationally) on

1-3-12!

The new DVD will also feature, for the first time, English and Spanish Subtitles! Look for it in stores everywhere on Jan. 1st!

With the record-breaking Box Office receipts for the secular hit, Paranormal Activity 3, interest in the paranormal is perhaps at all-time high. This presents the perfect opportunity to help spread the word about this subject from a Biblical Worldview. Finally, we'll leave you with a recent Review of Paranormal from Acclaimed Suspense Writer, Thomas Smith, Author of the new thrilling Novel, Something Stirs.

Paranormal works on a number of levels. As a supernatural suspense movie the story is engaging, the characters are believable, and the atmosphere is as much a character at times as the people on the screen. From a theological perspective the movie makes a number of very valid points, but does so in the context of the story as opposed to some films where it seems the theological portion is either so heavy handed that it overpowers the rest of the movie, or seems tacked on in an effort to make the film "Christian."
There's none of that here.
The pacing is effective, the action believable, and the tone of the movie will stand up against anything the major studios can do with their multimillion dollar budgets. In short...it's scary!
As an author in the same genre and an ordained minister, I cannot recommend this movie highly enough. I can recommend, however, that you invest in a nightlight before you watch it.

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to share two items with you in this update. First, we're excited to share the latest Webisode with you all! As always, feel free to share it and pass it around!

Second, we just wanted to also mention a Prayer Request. Please continue to pray for CSP, each other, and especially for the Krugers. As some of you are already aware, one of our Producers has been battling severe Migraines for 6 weeks now. After numerous Dr. visits and treatments, they still persist, so please continue to lift them up in prayer. If you've ever experienced this type of ailment, or know someone who has, then you know how utterly debilitating and serious these can be. I know they would be truly grateful for your prayers during this time.

It's official! Snitched will move out of Pre-Production and into full-blown Production on April 7th! After several weeks of casting, location-scouting, and set/prop preparation, plus many days of successful test-footage (see picture above from our last test shoot), the time has come! Obviously we don't want to reveal too much at this early stage, but we CAN share with you a short quote from the Director, Matt Mitchell. "This morning, Executive Producer Tiaan Kruger shared with me a rough-edit of some of the test footage we filmed last night. In a word, WOW!! I am so excited to see the level we are at, and I can share this much...based on what I saw this morning, the first 3 minutes of this film are literally going to make your jaw drop! I can't wait for everyone to see this on the big screen!" So there you have it! Please continue to pray for the Cast & Crew and for a safe and fruitful shooting schedule.

Audition Update!

Thank you all for an incredible weekend of auditions! We were absolutely thrilled and humbled to see so many talented people; and it was truly a blessing to meet many new friends, as well as reconnect with old ones!

From young children on their first audition, all the way to Grammy and Dove award winners, this was perhaps the finest group of people we've had in Cross Shadow history. Also, a very special thank-you to our volunteers who helped us tremendously, all weekend long. We could not have done it without you! You are the best and we love and appreciate you!!

Cross Shadow continues to grow Internationally! We are thrilled to announce that we have just signed a Distribution Deal for Paranormal in our Executive Producer's home country of South Africa! We are so excited to see the Lord open up new markets overseas including countries like: South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Angola, Mozambique, Kenya, Zambia, Mauritius, Ghana, and Tanzania! Paranormal is due to release there in May 2011 with new DVD cover art!

Speaking of expanding our reach, keep a look out for Paranormal in stores and online in the next few months with Spanish subtitles and English Closed Captioning! Thank you to all who were involved over the last couple of months that helped us get this done, as we will be able to reach an entirely new audience now! A special thank you specifically to April, Rodolfo A. and Madeline S for their incredible hard work!
